DS-15 Bolt Action Firearms

Dark Storm Industries offers a line of bolt action AR-style rifles and pistols designed for legal ownership in all 50 states, including the most restrictive jurisdictions.

Built on our standard DS-15 billet lower receiver, these firearms retain the look and feel of a traditional AR-15, while eliminating features that trigger bans in states like New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Washington, New Jersey, and Illinois. With no gas system and no semi-automatic function, these bolt action platforms fall entirely outside all state definitions of “assault weapon.”

Whether you9re looking for a compliant option that doesn’t compromise on quality or a tactical alternative for training and hunting applications, our bolt action lineup delivers.

Compatible with many standard AR-15 parts and accessories
7075 billet receivers, free-float handguards, and precision 5.56 NATO barrels
Ships with a 10-round magazine for restricted states
Available in both rifle and pistol configurations
Legal even in jurisdictions with the most aggressive firearms restrictions

These are not conversions. These are purpose-built bolt action firearms—crafted for compliance, engineered for performance.
