Springfield Armory9s M1A Tanker Semi-Auto Rifle is a direct descendant of one of the most respected battle rifles in the world: the M14 service rifle. The M1A Tanker uses the same basic platform as the M14, without the selective-fire switch. The 16.258#x34; barrel features 6-groove rifling, and a multi-port muzzle brake. The barrel, receiver, and all steel parts are Parkerized, true to original form. The walnut stock features a nonreflective oil finish and has a fold-out butt plate for accessory storage. The XS post front sight features a tritium insert, and the rear, ghost-ring aperture sight adjusts for windage and elevation.
