Class Format – Language
The entire class format is given in English. Students may not use translators or get help from other students, friends, family members, etc. Safety in the handling of firearms is our number one priority, so it is extremely important that students are able to understand the material, take notes, take the written test and can fully understand and follow all verbal range commands during our dry fire and live fire portions.
There are 3 parts to the testing for this course. You must pass each part on your own in order to move on to the next section.
You must pass the written exam within the allotted time frame; the minimum score is 90. If you score is below 90 you will be given one opportunity to review your test and make corrections.
Practical: Dry Fire (practicing safe gun handling with an unloaded firearm in classroom)
Each student must demonstrate his/her ability to follow the Instructors’ range commands and key safety skills.
Practical: Live Fire
Each student must demonstrate proficiency for the same required functions and follow the same range commands that were completed during dry-fire, but this time inside the range with live ammunition.
We will send an e-mail to the email address used to purchase the class that will confirm your purchase. This e-mail will also give you detailed information about the class, the expectations, preparations, and new COVID procedures. PLEASE remember to READ THIS E-MAIL.
